Is Kasawari Really Different than Other Resorts?
Absolutely! While we are only one Lembeh Strait resort we pride ourselves on standing apart from the crowd. We are an intimate, boutique resort with all the luxury and service of a much larger hotel. Here are a few of the things that make us different:
• Your choice of standard or deluxe villas, all with traditional Minahasan decor
• Roomy air-conditioned bedrooms featuring Terrazzo floors
• Oversized bathrooms with both indoor and outdoor showers
• A private wooden deck on each villa
• Mini-bars, safe deposit boxes, CD players, hair dryers and complimentary coffee/tea stations
All these are standard, while offering small, intimate dives with seasoned guides who can discover the hidden underworld treasures that Kasawari is known for. Don't settle for an ordinary experience at an extraordinary location. Plan an adventure with us!

Why Should I Pick a Lembeh Strait Resort?

National Geographic Magazine called attention to it and its "undersea oddballs" in its November of 2005 issue. This area is teeming with life, much of it impossible to find in other places. It is, in short, a muck diver's paradise which makes this the perfect place for a scuba dive photographer to find a scuba resort. Indonesia is booming as a diving destination, but don't be convinced to choose just any place in the area. For the ultimate diving experience choose a Lembeh Strait resort. And not just any resort, but Kasawari where you are always special. We are a small, boutique resort offering attention to detail and personalized dives to create those once in a lifetime photographic opportunities every underwater photographer and videographer is looking for. Come be our guest.

Kasawari Lembeh is a Personalized Boutique Diving Experience
A larger group means a more generic diving experience in order to appease everyone. That's the experience that can usually be expected in a Lembeh resort. But a discerning diver looking for individualized attention will be unsatisfied with settling for mass appeal. Kasawari Lembeh was created to provide that unique adventure discerning divers are looking for. We cater to the seasoned videographer or photographer searching for that perfect shot. Our attentive dive masters are so familiar with the waters of the famous Lembeh Strait that they can find that right spot every time.

What to Look for in a Lembeh Resort

You have planned and anticipated your trip all year. You want to bring home memories that last a lifetime. How do you find just the right place to stay in order to make this happen? First, look for a Lembeh resort offering small dives with experienced guides who know the area very well. Next, turn your attention to the accommodations you will be enjoying between dives. Ideally you will find a place that is not too big but is both luxurious and personalized. You want Internet available in your quarters so you can stay in contact back home. You want to stay in the middle of that tropical delight that is Indonesia, with gardens and greenery surrounding you. You want a Minahasan experience, to be immersed in the cultural differences. Kasawari Lembeh has all these features and more. Spend a few minutes looking through our pages at what we offer both in the water and on land, and you will find that we are the perfect choice for a discriminating diver.

Densely overgrown reefs and boulders, giant sea fans and soft coral, colorful sponges, schools of jacks, snappers, humphead parrotfish, purple dartfish, leaf scorpionfish, pink squat lobsters and even the remarkable boxer crabs await your discovery. During dusk dives, you will also be able to observe the fascinating mating rituals of mandarinfish.

The more than 30 dive sites of the Lembeh Strait are within easy reached of the centrally located Kasawari Lembeh Resort. The nearest dive site being just a stone throw’s away from our jetty and the furthest 20 minutes. After each dive, guests are whisked back to the resort for a quick shower, a down-load or a change of lens and relax comfortably during the surface interval.

Diving in the Lembeh Strait is year round. The Strait and it’s dive sites is protected by the mountains of North Sulawesi and by the ten-kilometer long Lembeh Island.
