Lombok & Sumbawa

The neighboring island of Bali, Lombok is undoubtedly an island to visit for all who are looking for good white sand beaches, quality hotels and volcanoes. Home to Indonesia’s second highest volcano, the Rinjani with its nearly 4,000 meters is without a doubt one of the best volcanos trekking that Indonesia can offer. Despite its proximity to Bali, its inhabitants are multicultural, and the Sasak tribes and culture are the majority.

While just east of Lombok, is Sumbawa island, waiting to be discovered. It might take more flights to get there but the rewards the island has to offer is much worth it. This island is best known for its waves, sandy beaches and wild terrain. With great surf and spectacular coral reefs, the majority of travelers to Sumbawa come to surf and dive.
