FAQ

When is the best time of the year to dive in Bunaken?

Bunaken National Park is best for diving during the dry season which is usually from April to October. Most sea creatures in Bunaken are year round, with some are easier to spot on certain time such as sharks in June and dolphins in July. Sperm whales are usually seen migrating through the area around July and August. During rain season which starts around November to February, it is still possible to dive but visibility is reduced in addition to rough surface due to winds and rains

If I arrive/depart in Manado outside the scheduled boat transfers, can I book a private boat?

Unfortunately, the resort is unable to do late night or early morning transfers to/from the resort due to safety reasons including sea condition. The option is to stay in Manado if your flight arrives after 5 PM or depart before 9 AM. We can help to book you a hotel room in Manado so do not hesitate to let us know.
