Shoulder season between March/April and October/November normally warmer with less winds which makes these months are very ideal to visit Rote, especially if you are looking for beach vacation on a remote island.
The people of Rote are very friendly, helpful, and they very much respect other’s believe. The criminal rate in the island is also considered very low considering it is a small closed community and the access to go in and out of the islands both by air and water are very well controlled by the authority.
On the geographical term, Rote is actually very strategic as it is located on the exact opposite location of where the Tsunami normally occurs. There is never been Tsunami in Rote and it is very unusual for this to happen to the island.
