Today we bring you a very special drink that you can make at your home.

After several doctors announced in Indonesia that this concoction can become very useful to help maintain the immune system due to the great benefits that its ingredients bring, the sales of ingredients for the preparation of Empon-Empon are having a big increase in recent days in cities like Jakarta.

Indonesian drink: Empon Empon

🌿 Empon Empon: Ingredients

  • 200 grams ginger 150ml water
  • Turmeric to taste
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 1 sheet pandan leaves
  • 5 tablespoons brown sugar/white sugar according to taste
  • Galangal to taste
  • 2 lemongrass stalks

👨🏼 🍳 Empon Empon: Steps to take for preparation

• Step 1:

Clean and cut all ingredients.

• Step 2:

Boil all ingredients in a saucepan.

• Step 3:

Filters boiled water into a container.

• Step 4:

Wait for the boiled water to cool down.

• Step 5:

Empon Empon blend is ready to drink.

👉 have a glass of Empon Empon in the morning and another in the afternoon 🍹.
