This week, we bring you a fabulous Indonesian recipe for noodles with chicken and fried dumplings. Mie Ayam Pangsit contains a garlic sauce that adds an exquisite flavor to the noodles. I’m sure you’ll love it!

Mie Ayam Pangsit - Traditional Indonesian Food

🍽️ Mie Ayam Pangsit: Ingredients for 4 people

➡️ For chicken:

  • 1 whole chicken, cut into small squares
  • 4 garlic cloves, chopped
  • 3 red onions, chopped
  • 4 tablespoons oil
  • 4 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 4 tablespoons sweet soy sauce
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1/2 tablespoon sesame oil
  • salt to taste

➡️ For garlic sauce:

  • 8 garlic cloves, grated
  • 8 tablespoons pork skin oil or sautéed chicken
  • 4 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth

➡️ For noodles:

  • 1 pack egg noodles
  • 1 Lettuce or spinach or some green vegetables
  • 1 Leek and onion, finely chopped
  • 1 chopped green onion

👨🏼 🍳 Mie Ayam Pangsit: Steps to take for its preparation

➡️ To cook chicken:

• Step 1:

Heat the oil, add the garlic and onion. Come out until golden brown.

• Step 2:

Add chicken, sweet soy sauce, soy sauce, salt and chicken broth.

• Step 3:

Let it simmer until most of the broth is gone.

➡️ To cook the garlic:

• Step 1:

Heat the oil.

• Step 2:

Add garlic, soy sauce and chicken broth.

➡️ To cook the noodles:

• Step 1:

Boil the noodles and lettuce.

• Step 2:

Fry the leek and onion.

➡️ At the time of serving:

• Step 1:

In a separate bowl, add the garlic sauce and mix with the noodles.

• Step 2:

Place the lettuce in a serving bowl, then add the noodles.

• Step 3:

Put the chicken and meatballs with the noodles.

• Step 4:

Add chicken, leeks and fried onions on top of the noodles.

• Step 5:

Add the green onion.

• Step 6:

Finally add some broth to taste.
