The new All Indonesia Arrival Card – What you need to know!

Travelling to Indonesia? Since September 1, 2025, the All Indonesia website has become the official integrated platform of the Directorate General of Immigration of Indonesia. This governmental portal streamlines entry procedures by combining three essential requirements (Arrival Card, Health Declaration & Customs Declaration) into a single, straightforward online process, the arrival card service. Read this blog to get to know more about the All Indonesia arrival card and the difference with the Visa on Arrival!

This means you no longer need to fill out separate paper forms upon arrival; everything is completed online in advance. You also no longer need to visit different websites for individual applications, as all requirements can now be completed on the same All Indonesia platform, providing a smoother experience at the airport or seaport. Complete your Arrival Card online before traveling. Required for all incoming passengers to Indonesia, meaning that Indonesian Citizens and Foreign Visitors have to get an Arrival Card. When lost, you can also retrieve your arrival card through the website.

How to fill in the Arrival Card

Before you begin your journey, it’s important to understand how to complete the All Indonesia Arrival Card correctly. The process is straightforward, but since it covers immigration, customs, and health protocols, you’ll need to provide accurate entry data through the official governmental portal. Below is a simple step-by-step guide to help travelers, whether visiting for the latest situation in Bali, returning to Bali, or applying for an Indonesian visa, complete the form without confusion.

Step 1: Go to the official website

Go to the official https://allindonesia.imigrasi.go.id/ website. Then, under Arrival Card Service, choose either Indonesian Citizen or Foreign Visitor.

Step 6: Quarantine & Customs Declaration

State whether you’re bringing animals, plants, or restricted goods, declare your baggage count, and provide information on electronic devices for IMEI registration if necessary.

Step 7: Submission & QR Code

After reviewing your details, submit the application to receive an Arrival QR Code. This is your proof of completion and will be scanned by Indonesian authorities upon arrival.

Important notes about the Arrival Card

  • Applying for the Arrival Card Application is completely free of charge. Use only the official Indonesian Government websites mentioned in this article. Be aware that many unofficial sites imitate the service and may charge unnecessary fees.
  • The Arrival Card Application can only be completed within 3 days before you arrive in Indonesia. In the application form, the departure calendar will only allow you to select dates within the next 3 days.
  • The Arrival Card is not a visa; you must still arrange the appropriate visa or entry permit if required.
  • This process is mandatory for all passengers entering Indonesia, including both foreign visitors and Indonesian citizens.
  • Completing it online before departure can save you significant time at the border.

All Indonesia arrival card vs Visa on arrival

Even though their names can sound similar, the All Indonesia Arrival Card and the Visa on Arrival are two completely different requirements.

The All Indonesia Arrival Card is a (free) digital declaration form that every traveler must complete online within 72 hours before arriving in Indonesia. It collects immigration, customs, and health information and gives you a QR code to show on arrival. It does not grant entry; it’s simply a required form.

The Visa on Arrival is a paid entry permit for visitors from certain countries. Eligible travelers can obtain it at the airport or online, paying about 500.000 rupiah for a stay of up to 30 days, extendable once.

In short, the arrival card is a mandatory online form for everyone, while the Visa on Arrival is a paid visa needed only by travelers who aren’t visa-exempt.
